About Us

Meet Our Staff

Lisa Mortensen - Director

Hi, I'm Lisa, the founder of Spectrum Social Club. All four of my children are neurdivergent. We're a mixed bag of autism, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, and more. Raising my kids has been the greatest joy, and the most challenging journey, of my life. Like all parents of exceptional kiddos, I have fought tirelessly to advocate for my children. I've hunted for resources, and done my best to find them the supports to help them each succeed.

The most frustrating times have been when I wasn't able to find what we needed. That is why I am so passionate about our programs here at Spectrum Social. Nothing makes me happier than being able to help children, their parents, and their families to be able to thrive. Our program offers something new and different in the realm of social training; and I'm excited to be able to fill an unmet need in our community.

Pamela Crouse - Deputy Director

Hi! I am Pamela Crouse, the deputy director here at Spectrum Social Club. I am a homeschooling mother with four children. My oldest son is autistic and my youngest son has Down syndrome.  They have taught me much about life and the kind of person I strive to be. Life can be a roller coaster and creating meaningful social relationships can be difficult for anyone. Watching my neurodiverse sons struggle in this area has inspired me. I am passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive community for people who share similar experiences.

I hope to contribute to Spectrum Social Club in a positive way thus creating a safe space where neurodivergent people can connect with others who understand and support them. Whether you're autistic, ADHD, suffer with anxiety, have Down syndrome, dyslexia, or any other neurodivergent identity, you are welcome here. I can’t wait to get to know you!
